Hmmm. Looks like your daddy got RIPPED off. A 5.05 Carat is not worth so much. I would say, $ 80,000 since you took out the setting. No no, rite there. The color is pretty good and so is the clarity, I think you would make a bundle of it.

Resale, you’d be lucky to get $ 50k for it. Diamonds are worth much less on the resale market then they retail for, unless you have one of exquisite quality – and unfortunately, you do not. Sorry.
